While it might sound challenging, this route is designed for intermediate-level cyclists. The ascent is steady but friendly — nothing a curious spirit and a little determination can’t handle.

We start early, departing from Calgary or Canmore, ready for a full day of exploration in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. Right from the first pedal stroke, the fresh air and the sounds of nature wrap around you. The first part of the ride winds through dense forests, where towering trees seem to guard the path, and every bend reveals a new corner to admire. It’s the kind of road that invites you to relax, take a deep breath, and forget about the outside world.

The Road to Moraine Lake: A Mirror of Mountains

After leaving the forest behind, we join the legendary Moraine Lake Road. Here the scenery changes — the landscape opens up, and you start to understand why this place is considered one of the most beautiful spots in Canada. After fully enjoying Moraine Lake, we hop back on our bikes and head towards the iconic Lake Louise. Here, another gem awaits: a short hike to a lookout point offering one of the most scenic views of the lake and the legendary Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.
